BOAT RIDE DHOW/DUBAI FERRY
The Dubai Ferry has now been running in the Emirate
for a number of years and is popular with tourists mainly as it allows visitors
to see the sights of Dubai from the water. The RTA is constantly updating and
reassessing the needs of its marine transport system and the Dubai Ferry is
being frequently improved and expanded. In the last decade Dubai has seen the
opening of the Dubai Metro, the Palm Monorail and the Dubai Tram also
opened to the public. In most countries the term ‘ferry’ would imply a boat that
takes you from one place to another for more of a public transport purpose.
However, although the Dubai Ferry is run by the RTA (Roads and Transport
Authority), the Ferry is more of a tourist trip as many of the trips that
are run on the Dubai Ferry, start at one of the ferry stations, tour round
areas of local interest, and return to the same station, with each trip lasting
for an hour to 90 minutes. The exception to this is the recently launched
service between Dubai and Sharjah which is a welcome addition to those who
commute between the 2 emirates.

I am amazed by the images in the blog, I just loved the way the pictures have been taken. I am a huge fan of desert Safari in Dubai and I am eagerly waiting for getting my Dubai visa, once I get it I will plan each and everything for my trip so that I do not miss on anything during my trip.
ReplyDeleteYour informative post along with beautiful pictures about various Dubai events, popular tourist attractions & public transport have certainly prompted me to Apply for Online Dubai visa. My wife did nudge me last year for a short Dubai getaway but we couldn’t make the trip due to the pandemic. However, with decreasing infection rates coupled with discounts in airfare & hotels, this might be the ideal time to visit Dubai with my lovely wife.
ReplyDeleteExcellent post! I have always heard about the Dubai Expo but could never visit there due to my professional and personal commitments. However, a long vacation is overdue which is why I have decided to get a Dubai visa as soon as possible. Apart from the Dubai expo, I will be visiting other attractions such as the Green Planet Dubai and the many traditional souks of Dubai.
